Today read Proverbs 12:15-28. What stands out to you?

Proverbs 12:15
'The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.'
*fools fail to realize what the wise know, listening is the way to learn

Proverbs 12:16
'Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult. '
*a level head allows the wise to think clearly and avoid reactions that would cause a fight

Proverbs 12:18
'The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.'

Proverbs 12:19
'Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed.

Proverbs 12:20
'Deceit fills hearts that are plotting evil; joy fills hearts that are planning peace! '

Proverbs 12:22
'The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in those who tell the truth. '
*TRUTH

Proverbs 12:24
'Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave. '

Proverbs 12:25
'Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up. '
*encouraging others, easpecially during their season of trials is a way God can use us to spread his love

Proverbs 12:26
'The godly give good advice to their friends; the wicked lead them astray. '
*honest, true, encouraging and loving advice-not just what our friends want to hear

Proverbs 12:27
'Lazy people don’t even cook the game they catch, but the diligent make use of everything they find.'
*this hits home to me because we are so wasteful-instead of being wasteful or poor with our time, we can work towards glorifying God with all our talents and gifts

Proverbs 12:28
'The way of the godly leads to life; that path does not lead to death.'
*to truly live we have to lose our life, surrender to our own will, and seek God in all we do
