Proverbs 12: So many suggestions for successful living in one small chapter of the Bible. Let's Proverb our way through life! Read Proverbs 12:1-14. These are what stood out to me!

Proverbs 12:1
'Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid. '

Proverbs 12:4
'A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones. '
*Crown symbolizes:
wealth (14:24)
longlife (16:31
grandchildren (17:6)

Proverbs 12:6
'The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright rescues them. '

Proverbs 12:7
'The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous stands firm. '
*A family built on the foundation of Jesus can withstand anything the world will throw its way.

Proverbs 12:8
'A person is praised according to their prudence, and one with a warped mind is despised. '
*sensible person acts only after reflecting
*a warped mind acts on impuse

Proverbs 12:9
'Better to be a nobody and yet have a servant than pretend to be somebody and have no food. '
*reality is more imporant than appearance-it's more important to be who you were made it be, confident in God than to be someone you are not and fake your way through the world...where is this peace in this?

Proverbs 12:12
'The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers, but the root of the righteous endures. '
*the Godly are well-rooted and their relationships are stable under duress

Proverbs 12:14
'From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things, and the work of their hands brings them reward. '
