Philippians 3:7-8

“I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. If what you're doing isn't glorifying God, then it's garage. Worthless.

We truly don't accept this like we should. There's SO many things that get us all bent out of shape that just DO NOT matter. They don't matter AT ALL.

If it causes you to sin, either get rid of the activity or habit, or you need to change your mindset. For example, if you're miserable to be around at work or school, you can't just quit, you need to change yourself and your mindset. Everything you do at work or school, do it to glorify God. Same for activities, or whatever. When you do things that don't glorify God, apologize (to the person if needed), and ask God for forgiveness. We will fail constantly, but our goal is to every day grow closer to being like Jesus, the only perfect human to ever walk this Earth.

We WILL fail. We will fail daily, but we can make it right, and we can change to be better, to be the light for everyone around us. So whatever is tripping you up, whatever is causing you to sin, and not glorify God….throw it out, or change your mindset. Be better. Make the world better. Never stop dreaming of how you can make the world around you better. Bring light into dark places. Talk to God frequently. Love others. Hold each other accountable. Accept criticism and grow. Stop being offended all the time. Give grace. Spend time in God's word. Sing him praises. Center your life on God, and walking as Jesus did. Glorify God in all you do, and strive to make him proud, because he loves you unconditionally. You are his prized possession, you always have been and always will be.
