“The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you!” Luke 17:6 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/luk.17.6.NLT
How big is God to you? In your mind do you think he can do things that feel so impossible, that when they pop into your brain you just shut it out? Or do you talk to him about these dreams? I sometimes find myself shutting out the thought because it just seems too impossible to actually happen, but that's where we belittle God and his unlimited power.
If your dream, aligns with God's will for your life, and you are a faithful servant, you will accomplish it. You won't accomplish it with your own strength and resources, but God will work through you to accomplish it.
Can you imagine the world we could live in, we all tried to align our lives with God's will for our lives? If we just boldly lived in Christ, lived to glorify God, and faithfully served out our purpose? This world would be full of so much more joy, if we just trusted God and his provision for our lives, and allowed him to work through us to let his light shine for everyone to see. Instead, I find, that we depend on ourselves, worldly things, and we belittle God's actual power…or our dream doesn't actually align with his will for us. Spending more time with God in prayer, in his word, worshiping Him, and you'll be amazed with the thoughts that pop into your head, and crazy, bold ideas you will have. But will you stay faithful through trials and temptations?
I dare you to dream so impossibly big, your dream requires absolute faith in God for it to actually happen. I pray we can all be better in trials and temptations and leave our self-serving minds behind and become obedient to Christ and all his commands. We can serve others, and shine God's light for all to see. Don't belittle God anymore! I don't care if your 8 or 58…live for more, live to share the love of God to everyone and allow him to work through you to accomplish the impossible. God only uses broken humans to accomplish massive things, but each broken person he uses in the Old Testament has incredible faith. You will fail, we all do, and they all did. Ask for forgiveness, talk to God, and become more like Jesus through each trial, temptation and day on earth! You are so loved, so worthy, and so valued by our creator.
